After making any changes to a cask, existing or new, verify:

Additionally, if adding a new cask:

  • Named the cask according to the token reference.
  • Checked the cask was not already refused (add your cask's name to the end of the search field).
  • brew audit --cask --new <cask> worked successfully.
  • HOMEBREW_NO_INSTALL_FROM_API=1 brew install --cask <cask> worked successfully.
  • brew uninstall --cask <cask> worked successfully.

  • AI was used to generate or assist with generating this PR.

AI helped to draft the initial cask and PR text. I manually reviewed the final cask, ran brew style --fix notchi/validation/notchi, ran brew audit --cask --new notchi/validation/notchi, removed the caveats stanza per review, and manually verified the zap paths against the app's bundle identifier and the repo's use of cache, HTTP storage, preferences, and saved-state paths.

Thank you, @sk-ruban!

Please also ensure you keep the Pull Request Template in tact when opening PRs in Homebrew, as it provides important steps for a successful PR - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/homebrew-cask/refs/heads/main/.github/PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md - I have updated the PR body for you to fill it out before we move forward.
