versions for agent skills

I don't believe that agent skills can automatically update. Is it possible to at least indicate a version date? Thanks.

No, currently there's no versioning concept to agents. The best way we can achieve this at present is to use a plugin and version bump the plugin when the agent definition changes.

Skills have a metadata property that a version could be put into (this is also supported in agent frontmatter but isn't used by IDE's) but given that it's non-standard no tooling will do anything other than ignore it.

Thanks @aaronpowell, I think that I'd need an manager extension to manage the updating of skill versions.
